you’ll be missed.

PT

You said nobody puts baby in the corner and danced your way into our hearts.

I was in my teens when dirty dancing was out. You were the epitome of a knight in shining armour. We all dreamt of being baby. Of being swept off our feet; literally.

That was a movie that allowed a generation to dream. And it still does.

Then you said; the love inside you take it with you as you broke our hearts. I don’t think I still to this day can watch that movie without crying. The love it evoked was so pure, so real and so bittersweet.

But most of all, from what we could see, it was the man that had us intrigued. The true gentleman among a valley of plastic dreams. A man so dedicated to his wife and his work. A kind spirit.

You came, you allowed us to dream, you entertained and today you gracefully left us.

May you forever rest in peace.

  1. I liked him in Dirty Dancing.

  2. As much as I enjoyed his other movies, main one being Ghost, I have to say I’m with you on that one. I loved him in Dirty Dancing also and I think he’ll always be etched in our minds as the mesmerising Johnny.
